Dr. Ricky Agnihotri MD.,MPH
Dr. Ricky Agnihotri was born and raised in Nottingham, England. He has a Masters in Public Health (University of Alberta), and graduated from the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine. He is married, and has a young son – who he hopes will someday play for Liverpool FC (Arsenal and Chelsea fans need not apply). He is an Edmonton Oilers fan – please do not use this against him. He loves soccer, biking, camping, and travelling.
He has a special interest in Seniors’ Care, Mental Health, Type 2 Diabetes, and Obesity. Recently, he has taken on a new interest in Early Literacy. He is leading the clinic in a partnership with Calgary Reads. Most of us refer to him as Dr. Ricky – however, if you’re brave enough you may attempt his name and win... a sticker. Agnihotri is pronounced “Ag-nee-ho-tree” – in Sanskrit it means the one who summons the fire god (Agni) or the fire starter!
